New York Trip

These are some images from a trip that I took to NYC to research an art piece for my final studio project last semiester. This was my first trip to New York City, and I tried to capture as many images as I could. The trip was comprised of a visit to mid-town, and a visit to the MoMA, the American Museum of Folk Art, and The Soloman R. Guggenhiem Museum. I walked to each. Some of the photos included are of The Lever House, by Architects Skidmore, Owings, and Meril (SOM), and the Segrums Tower, by Architect Mies Van Der Rowe,(with Philip Johnson, consulting). The art peice I was researching was Donald Judd's Untitled (Stacks '67). Various other exibits are shown as well.

Thanks for the suggestion. I changed my background color and my text color. If you want to read my Blog now you can, it focused around food and is a requirement for my history class (which is about food). The post you commented on is an incomplete draft of an essay I am eventually going to complete and will hopefully be more packed with information, since I feel I lacked on the resources. Anyways, good luck with school, it sounds like you're invested in architecture. If you haven't read The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand you should, even though she ultra conservative writer I think she has a lot of cool things to say about architecture.
